New Offensive Coodinator Plans on Using Multiple Running Backs

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/02/room_for_derrick_green_deveon.html#incart_river

Nussmeier plans on using multiple backs in order to sustain success and keep players healthy. This defers from Borges plans of finding one feature back that would get 25-30 touches per game and would be better for the young players in the long run. I can see this working very well especially when Michigan has so much young talent in their backfield from previous recruiting classes.

Martin Mayhew isn't ready to give up on Chris Houston yet. After having his worst season since joining the Detroit Lions organization, Mayhew is confident that Houston will bounce back to being a steady contributor to the Lions push for the playoffs. Hopefully the Houston gets back into his groove and the Lions can get back into the playoffs this season.

U of M is Going to have in Young Offensive Line

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/02/michigan_ol_coach_darrell_funk.html#incart_river

The Michigan Wolverines football team looks to the future with their offensive line. They started 9 different offensive linemen last season and used 5 different starting lineups throughout the course of the 2013 season. This season with basically no upper classmen being on the line, they hope that their young players that Hoke has recruited in his time there, can step up and help the team this year as they gain experience along the way. Michigan had 5 freshman red-shirted last season so there is no shortage of bodies for the offensive line this season, this spring there will be a lot of focus on putting together the best starting line that they can with basically all underclassmen.

Detroit Lions Salary Cap Issues

Just an article about the Detroit Lions current... well, future cap issues... The Lions and the fans definitely want Suh around for a long time but when Warford, Reiff, Ansah, and Waddle look so promising and are so young it kinda makes things difficult a few years down the road. When Suh is resigned to a long term deal, himself, Stafford, and Megatron will continue to take up 40% (or more) of the $126 million cap this season. There are going to be some really tough decisions to be made in the coming years in the city of Detroit.

Shane Morris, now Sophomore QB for the Michigan Wolverines can't believe that his Freshman season went by so fast and is looking to continue to work hard this season as he continues to ride the bench until Gardner loses the starting job or graduates.

Kyle Singler to Start Against the Nets

Kyle Singler is starting again for the Pistons again tonight. Coach Cheeks doesn't blame loss to Magic on him. Singler had 11 points off of 3-4 shooting from down town against the Magic.
