Hiring of Stan Van Gundy and give the Piston's organization structure and help instill accountability, something they haven't had in what seems like forever. Hiring SVG as both Coach and GM will help the Pistons improve dramatically.

Tracy McGrady, for NBA player debuted for the Sugar Land Skeeters with the intent of full-filling his life long dream of being a professional baseball player. He pitched 1 inning, and allowed 1 run off of 3 hits. Might be nice to track how much he improves and see if he makes the roster cut on the 24th.

Chemistry on the U of M Football Team?

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/04/michigans_brady_hoke_this_team.html#incart_river

After a disappointing season last year, the Michigan football team seems to have gained some chemistry.
After this season every player on the roster will have signed up to play for Brady Hoke and not Rich Rodriguez. This should be an exciting season of Michigan football.

Jordan Morgan Says Goodbye to Michigan Basketball

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/03/jordan_morgan_bids_adieu_to_mi.html#incart_river

Sad to see him go, as the only Senior on the team he's the only one that definitely won't be back next season... Michigan will surely miss his size and gritty play. He was a rock for Michigan in their run to the Elite 8 this season and will be missed as Michigan continues to build a championship team.

Sad to see the Michigan Season End...

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/03/column_with_no_regrets_this_mi.html#incart_river

It's sad to think that this may have been the last time that we see this Michigan team. With Stauskas and Robinson III probably considering the draft what could happen next year??? Hopefully McGary can come back healthy and LeVert and Walton Jr can continue to improve and we can win the championship! Next year should be really exciting with some changes coming to the B1G as Payne for MSU and Craft from OSU are going to be gone.

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/03/glenn_robinson_iii_and_cuonzo.html#incart_river

Glenn Robinson III, star forward for the Michigan Wolverines is playing against his dad's old teammate tonight. The Tennessee head coach, Cuonzo Martin, was a teammate and roommate of Glenn Robinson's dad and basically Glenn Robinson III's uncle... Martin also tried to recruit Glenn Robinson III out of high school when he was hired to coach Tennessee's basketball team in 2011.

Nick Fairley May Not be a Detroit Lion After 2014 Season

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2014/03/column_if_nick_fairley_has_a_m.html

After Failey refused to lose weight and get into better shape after the end of the 2013 season the Detroit Lions chose to decline his option for 2015. Now he's in a contract year and playing for a better contract and more money. The Lions hope this will motivate him to play better this season, but don't know if they should resign him if he does play well...

MIchigan vs Texas

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/03/michigan_starts_scouting_for_l.html

Hopefully Michigan is well prepared for a tall team from Texas... Maybe they've learned how to handle them since the Big 10 championship loss to Michigan State. Whoever wins goes on to the Sweet 16 to play against Duke, UMass, Tennessee, or Mercer.

Michigan vs Michigan St for the National Championship?

http://www.mlive.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/03/ncaa_tournament_spartans_wolve.html#incart_river

Doubt it would happen... Michigan is weak down low and got crushed by State in the conference tourny but it would be pretty cool to see them pitted against each other for another championship. State looks really strong after clobbering Delaware (no one saw that coming) and Michigan looked strong aswell beating Wofford (again.. shocker.) It would be awesome for the Big10 to have its two best teams face off for the championship especially after Ohio State got knocked out early by Dayton (who?)

P.S. Go Blue!

Flame War Between 2 NFL CB's...

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1992429-richard-sherman-and-deangelo-hall-engage-in-twitter-war

Not really a flame war but none the less, DeAngelo Hall and Richard Sherman got into a Twitter 'War,' arguing about who is the better cornerback basically... DeAngelo sights his 8 interception season from a few years back as Sherman points out that his team actually wins games... WOOOOOHOOOOO

Golden Tate and Joique Bell Sign with Detroit Lions

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2014/03/detroit_lions_golden_tate_and.html

To start off the free agency period of the off-season the Lions signed Golden Tate away from the Seattle Seahawks. Tate led the Seahawks receiving corps leading the team in receptions, yards, and tied for the team lead in touchdowns, he also had the longest reception of the season for the team being 80 yards. The Lions also managed to maintain Joique Bell a promising running back who has showed much versatility and toughness since joining the Lions off of the Saints' practice squad a few years back.

Pussy Riot Band Members Attacked in Russia

http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/07/world/europe/russia-pussy-riot-attack/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

Members of the band Pussy Riot were attacked in a McDonald's in Russia while they were eating their breakfast. A group of men came up to the band members and smeared their faces with paint and threw trash at them.Geez, if this is what Russians do to their own people simply because they don't like them, I'd hate to see what they would do in a war...

Modern Day Michigan Mummy

http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/07/us/michigan-mummified-body-found/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

A woman was killed in and mummified at least 6 years ago and until now, no one had any idea... Her bills were being paid and neighbors said she traveled a lot and kept to herself a lot. After the money in her account finally dried up and bills weren't paid her house was foreclosed on and when someone was sent to fix a leaky roof by the bank her body was discovered mummified in the backseat of her car.

New Offensive Coodinator Plans on Using Multiple Running Backs

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/02/room_for_derrick_green_deveon.html#incart_river

Nussmeier plans on using multiple backs in order to sustain success and keep players healthy. This defers from Borges plans of finding one feature back that would get 25-30 touches per game and would be better for the young players in the long run. I can see this working very well especially when Michigan has so much young talent in their backfield from previous recruiting classes.

Detroit Hope Houston is Back to Playing Well in 2014

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2014/02/detroit_lions_martin_mayhew_co_2.html#incart_river

Martin Mayhew isn't ready to give up on Chris Houston yet. After having his worst season since joining the Detroit Lions organization, Mayhew is confident that Houston will bounce back to being a steady contributor to the Lions push for the playoffs. Hopefully the Houston gets back into his groove and the Lions can get back into the playoffs this season.

U of M is Going to have in Young Offensive Line

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/02/michigan_ol_coach_darrell_funk.html#incart_river

The Michigan Wolverines football team looks to the future with their offensive line. They started 9 different offensive linemen last season and used 5 different starting lineups throughout the course of the 2013 season. This season with basically no upper classmen being on the line, they hope that their young players that Hoke has recruited in his time there, can step up and help the team this year as they gain experience along the way. Michigan had 5 freshman red-shirted last season so there is no shortage of bodies for the offensive line this season, this spring there will be a lot of focus on putting together the best starting line that they can with basically all underclassmen.

Detroit Lions Salary Cap Issues

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2014/02/how_much_of_the_salary_cap_doe.html#incart_river

Just an article about the Detroit Lions current... well, future cap issues... The Lions and the fans definitely want Suh around for a long time but when Warford, Reiff, Ansah, and Waddle look so promising and are so young it kinda makes things difficult a few years down the road. When Suh is resigned to a long term deal, himself, Stafford, and Megatron will continue to take up 40% (or more) of the $126 million cap this season. There are going to be some really tough decisions to be made in the coming years in the city of Detroit.

Shane Morris Can't Believe His First Year of College Went by so Fast.

http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/02/michigans_shane_morris_believe.html#incart_river

Shane Morris, now Sophomore QB for the Michigan Wolverines can't believe that his Freshman season went by so fast and is looking to continue to work hard this season as he continues to ride the bench until Gardner loses the starting job or graduates.

Kyle Singler to Start Against the Nets

http://www.mlive.com/pistons/index.ssf/2014/02/kyle_singler_likely_to_remain.html#incart_river

Kyle Singler is starting again for the Pistons again tonight. Coach Cheeks doesn't blame loss to Magic on him. Singler had 11 points off of 3-4 shooting from down town against the Magic.
